Solapur (Maharashtra): Under the sweet name of eradication of superstitions, the Maharashtra Government is trying to pass an act which will in fact, impose restrictions on ‘Dharmacharan’ of Hindus. The Act was opposed in the year 2005 but now again; the same Bill is being put up by the State Government for passing in the Legislature on the basis of majority. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) has undertaken a movement to oppose the conspiracy of the Government and intense demonstrations were held at Tilak Chowk. In the beginning, Mr. Nagesh Valyal, a member of BJP – Youth Wing and Mr. Bapu Dhage, former municipal councilor garlanded the statue of Lokmanya Tilak when the demonstrators raised slogans against secular Congress Government. The activists were carrying boards and saffron flags. Mr. Nagesh Valyal, Mr. Bapu Dhage and Mr. Vinod Rasal and Mr. Yashapal Wadkar expressed their views with compeering done by Mr. Ramesh Pandhare and Mr. Balaraj Dontul.

Mr. Lakshman Salunke, Ramesh Avar, Shriniwas Ekkaldevi, Nagesh Manjeli, Satyanarayan Kanki, Mallikarjuna Mane, Dnyaneshwar Vitkar, Raju Gopanpalli, Yeriraj Honmane, Rahul Saggam etc. were the other activists who took part in the demonstrations.

Demonstrations against the proposed anti-superstitions Act by HJS in Dhule

Dhule (Maharashtra):  There is a rage of anger among Hindus because of the proposed Act decided to be passed by the Government for eradication of superstitions but the Act is more likely to eradicate faith and devotion of Hindus. Yesterday, HJS held demonstrations and submitted a representation to the District Collector. The demonstrations were held in front of the District Collector’s office and were joined by more than 100 devout Hindus. Slogans were raised against the proposed Act. Many citizens signed the representation opposing the Act.

The city-President of BJP- Youth Wing Mr. Pratik Jite, the President of Navbharat Mitra Mandal Mr. Bhimchandra Chaudhary, its members Mr. Yogesh Chaudhary, Jitu Chaudhary, Kunal Chaudhary, Bablu Chaudhary, Sonal Chaudhary, Vipul Jain, ‘Om Sai Group’s members Mr. Dinesh Bagul, Bunty Ranalkar, Mayur Barage, Gokul Bagul, Bala Bansod, municipal councilor Mr. Tushar Patil, builders Mr. Shivaji Yadav, Bunty Mistry, Devendra Mahajan, Khandu Hazare and activists of HJS were present on the occasion of submission of the representation.
