Take stringent action against adulterers of milk for playing with human health ! – Prof. Shrikant Borate, HJS

Prof. Shrikant Borate explaining the subject at the venue of demonstrations

Shirval (dist. Satara) : India is known as a collector of milk at international level but unfortunately, adulterated milk is sold here on large scale. Out of the total milk and milk products sold in this country, 68.7% are not pure as per the standard laid down by National Food Security Act. Similarly, 2 lakh litres of water is mixed with milk in Maharashtra but the Government has not been taking any steps against cheating of people and harm caused to their health, through the same. Stringent action should therefore, be taken against those responsible for adulteration of milk and causing harm to people’s health.
