Collective chanting, prayers and letter writing drives undertaken to acquire Shriram’s grace for construction of Shriram Mandir

Devotees gathered at ‘Pavan Ganapati Mandir’ in Karniknagar, Solapur for offering collective prayer on the occasion of ‘Shriram Janmotsava’

Solapur : Several attempts were made at social, political, cultural and judicial levels for construction of huge Mandir at Ayodhya of Shriram, who is worshipped by of all Hindus; however, this issue has remained unresolved for past 490 years. Now, it is time that we pray to Shriram for the same. Under ‘Shriram Naam-sankeertan’ drive on the occasion of Shriram-Navami, collective chanting session was held and prayers were made to Shriram.

1. Solapur : Devotees visiting ‘Vighnaharta Ganesh Mandir’ at Bharati Vidyapeetha and Ganapati Mandir at Vishnupuri chanted Shriram’s name collectively during ‘Shriram Janmotsava’ ceremony. Devout Hindu women were present in large number on the occasion. Sou. Devkar, wife of ‘Vighnaharta Ganesh Mandir’s Trustee also participated with lot of enthusiasm.

Prayers were made to Shri Ganapati and Shriram at ‘Pavan Ganapati Mandir’ in Karniknagar on the occasion of ‘Shriram Janmotsava’ for construction of Ram-Mandir without further delay and for establishing ‘Rama-rajya’ i.e. Hindu Rashtra in this country. Participating devotees also collectively chanted ‘Shriram Jai Ram Jai Jai Ram’.

2. Ambajogai (Dist. Beed) : All devotees chanted ‘Shriram Jai Ram Jai Jai Ram’ collectively for one hour at Shriram Mandir in Patil Chowk, on the occasion of Ram-Navami.

Highlight: An 80 year old grandmother also joined in chanting.

3. Phalatan (Dist. Satara) : Sou. Nirmala Nanavare of ‘Durga Bhajani Mandal’, Kolki had organized collective chanting and prayers at Shri. Sachin Shinde’s house, on the occasion of ‘Rama-Janmotsava’. Shri. Pradip Jadhav spoke about need for Hindu Rashtra and 18 devotees wrote letter to Supreme Court appealing for construction of Ram Mandir without delay.

Highlight: 6 years-old daughter of Shri. Gosavi, a reader of ‘Dainik Sanatan Prabhat’ also learnt about the subject and wrote a letter to Supreme Court for construction of Ram Mandir.

4. Collective chanting session was held at 2 places in Sundarpur (Dist Satara).

5. Barshi (Dist. Solapur) – Devotees offered special prayers at Mangalwar Peth and chanted Shriram’s name collectively.

Shriram Yuva Sena, Solapur had created a model of proposed Shriram Mandir at Ayodhya while huge idol of Shriram was placed in its front on a chariot and it was taken in procession. The procession was started with Dr. Jayasiddheshwar Mahaswami, ‘Muthadhipati’, Gaudgaon and Guardian Minister Vijaykumar Deshmukh performing ‘puja’. The other dignitaries present were Shri. Rajkumar Patil, the Founder, Shri. Kishore Raichurkar, President, Opposition leaders in Municipality viz. Shri. Mahendra Kothe, Shri. Devendra Kothe, municipal councilor Karbhari, Ambika Patil etc. Children dressed as Shriram, Lakshman and Sita were drawing attention of people.

Sangli : Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) took initiative in organizing various drives like collective chanting sessions, lectures, offering special prayers at temples, book exhibition and writing letter etc for removal of obstacles in construction of Ram-Mandir. At many places, devotees gave feedback that they felt peaceful and happy by chanting.

1. Collective chanting sessions were held at 5 places in Ishwarpur viz. ‘Gram-daivat’ Shri Ambabai Mandir, Shri Kashi Vishweshwar Mandir, Datta Mangal Karyalaya, Shriram Mandir, Sakharale and at the residence of Sou. Sujata Shevale, a devout Hindu. In all, 202 devout Hindus participated in the drive.

2. Collective chanting was done at Shriram Mandir, Nevari (near Vita) where 1000 devotees were present. Collective chanting was held at the residence of Shri. Vikas Mane at Vita, where 1200 devotees were present.

3. Special prayers were offered at ancient 125 year-old Shri Vitthal Mandir at Manerajuri (Taluka Tasgaon) and awareness was created towards the issue. 60 devout Hindus, including readers of ‘Sanatan Prabhat’, were present on the occasion. Collective chanting was done at the residence of Shri. Bharat Dubal; followed with a lecture.

4. More than 350 devout Hindus were present at Shriram Mandir located on Pandharpur Road in Miraj. Lecture was held by ‘Pujya’ Sagar Maharaj before chanting session. A lecture was also held at Ambamata Mandir in Mangalwar Peth, Miraj.

5. Shriram Navami was celebrated with lot of devotion at Tophkhane Shriram Mandir in Gaobhag area of Sangli. Devotees chanted Shriram’s name and offered special prayers also. Sou. Madhura Tophkhane addressed the devout Hindus present on the occasion. Devotees wrote letters for construction of Ram Mandir. Handbills giving information on Shriram were distributed during the program. ‘Dharmashikshan’-boards were also displayed in the temple. About 250 devout Hindus were present on the occasion.

6. In private Shriram Mandir of devout Hindu Shri. Muralidhar Magdum at Jaisingpur (Dist. Kolhapur), who is also a subscriber of ‘Sanatan Prabhat’; Shriram’s name was chanted collectively. Advocate (Sou.) Manisha Mane addressed 70 devotees present on the occasion; explaining the issue of Ram Mandir.
