Panvel : Procession to welcome New Year was taken out at Shirdhon (Dist. Raigad) on the occasion of ‘Gudhi Padva’. Sanatan Sanstha and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) took part in this procession. Seekers and devout Hindus participating in the procession chanted ‘Shriram Jai Ram Jai Jai Ram’ on the way while carrying boards with matters related to Dharma written on them.
‘Gudhi Padva Sanskrutik Va Samajik Seva Sanstha, Kalamboli’ took out the New Year procession at Kalamboli. Sanatan Sanstha and HJS joined even this procession. Shri. Abhishek Mandhare of Sanatan performed collective ‘Gudhi-pujan’. Special issues of ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ published on the occasion of ‘Gudhi Padva’ were distributed during the procession and even Sanatan books were sold.
‘Hindu Nava-varsha Swagat Samiti’, Kamothe organized New Year march in which Sanatan Sanstha and HJS took part. Demos on self-defence were presented by HJS during the march.
