Successful conclusion of HJS’ drive undertaken for protection of Khadakwasla

Awareness created amongst Hindus, with relentless efforts of 17 years, towards science related to ‘Dhulivandan’ and ‘Rangpanchami’ festivals

Eminent personalities and HJS activists undertaking drive for protection of water reservoir

Pune : Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) undertook a drive for protection of Khadakwasla water reservoir on the occasion of ‘Dhulivandan’ and ‘Rang-panchami’. It was fruitfully concluded on 25th March. This drive was a total success like earlier years.

It is the outcome of 17 relentless years of efforts that Hindus seemed to have become aware of the science related to festivals like ‘Dhulivandan’ and ‘Rang-panchami’ as malpractices were considerably reduced. HJS – activists made a human-chain around Khadakwasla water reservoir and stopped people smeared with colours from getting into the reservoir; thus preventing likely pollution of this water reservoir. It was possible due to the presence and grace of ‘Jal-devata’. Local residents of Khadakwasla, more than 60 staff members of ‘Cummins India’ Company and members of Sanatan Sanstha and Ranaragini Division participated in this drive.
