Take proper action on representation submitted by HJS to stop malpractices during ‘Holi’

Jata (Sangli) : Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) had submitted representation to Tehasildar at Jata, demanding putting of curb over malpractices observed in the background of celebration of ‘Holi’ and ‘Rang-panchami’ festivals and for providing security to women. Taking note of this representation, Tehasildar and Taluka Executive Magistrate issued notice to Police Inspector for taking necessary action in this context.

It was stated in the order issued to Police Inspector that ‘on the points referred to by Sou. Nila Hatti of HJS and others in the representation, detailed inquiry should be conducted and necessary vigilance by police should be arranged for maintaining law and order while care should be taken to see that no wrong things happened during this period. Those submitting such representation may be informed about the action taken in that context’.
