Yavatmal : On 28th December, demonstrations were staged under aegis of ‘Rashtriya Hindu Andolan (RHA)’ by various pro-Hindu organizations, sects and devout Hindu activists at local Datta Chowk. They opposed to anti-cultural ‘Sunburn’ festival held at Pune. The other demand made during demonstrations was that defamation of Sanatan Sanstha, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti and pro-Hindu organizations through false accusations should be stopped. 445 ‘jidnyasus’ signed the demonstrations through signing the representation, in 1-1/2 hours.
About 35-50 devout Hindu activists including members of ‘Gurudev Seva Mandal’, ‘Mahila Utthan Mandal’, Sanatan Sanstha and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) joined the demonstrations.
Highlights
1. Good response was received from school children so also ladies attending Dharma-shikshan classes, by joining the demonstrations.
2. Shri. Milind Thosar, a devout Hindu activist and Shri. Prabhakar Dambhare of ‘Gurudev Seva Mandal’ explained the subject to passers-by so as to get maximum no. of signatures on representation.
