HJS oppose Shirdi temple trust giving Rs. 500 crores loan to Maha Govt

Whether Suresh Haware a Trustee of Temple or an owner : Whom did he ask before giving interest-free loan of Rs. 500 crores to the Govt ?

The Chairman of Shri Sai Sansthan Trust in Shirdi Suresh Haware has recently given a loan of Rs. 500 crores to the Government for carrying out work of an Irrigation project. There is no interest, no time limit for repayment, nor the guarantee. It will be a miracle to expect the Government which is already reeling under the burden of a lot of debt to repay the loan. Nobody gives such a loan on business terms. This is not a loan but a donation given by Haware to the Government. Does Haware, who was appointed as the Trustee of Shri Sai Sansthan Trust at the mercy of the Government, think that the Trust money belongs to him ? Haware should realise that he is a Trustee and not the owner of the Trust. To whom did Haware ask before giving the loan to the Government ? The money is the offerings made by the devotees unto feet of Shri Saibaba. This question was raised by Shri. Sunil Ghanwat, State Coordinator of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti for Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh States. Similarly, Shri. Ghanwat insisted that Haware must reply to the devotees of Shri Sai.

This is a classic example of looting God’s money when the Trustees of a temple are not devotees. If the Government needed money for irrigation projects, why the ruling BJP does not use its party funds which are in balance to the tune of Rs. 6,300 ? When it is realised that the party funds are to be utilised for the party, why is it not realised that God’s money is to be utilised for God only ? The looting of God’s money incurs great demerit and the looters will have to perform atonement for the same. The Government had taken money from Hindus’ temples many times so far but has not dared to take even a single rupee from Wakf Board or Christian institutes. The looting of Hindus’ temples is continuing despite stiff opposition from Hindus. Therefore, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti will start a campaign to ask Hindus not to donate money in temples, instead put the slips ‘Withdraw take-over of temples, spend temple funds for the mission of Dharma’ in the donation boxes.
