Kanpur: Gold stolen from Sri Durga temple

O Hindus, Anti-Hindus are damaging Hindu Temples in the entire country. Many State Governments has taken over famous temples and using its fund for Muslims, Christians and other reasons, but not for Hindus. Thefts have become rampant in Hindu Temples. BJP Govt. in Karnataka is on temple demolition spree. Now it is high time for all Hindus to unite together to save Temple, Save Hindu Dharma and save ourselves ! There is no other option to work towards goal of establishment of ‘Hindu-Nation’ !

Kanpur (Uttar Pradesh): Tension broke out in the Old City area when silver ornaments were stolen from a Goddess Durga Temple on Tuesday night.

The burglars took away the silver umbrella-cover and silver crown of Goddess Durga, weighing 800 gms and 350gm respectively, besides cash from donation box and other valuables.

The incident came to light when priest Ramesh Tewari opened the doors of the temple on Wednesday morning. He found that the lock of the gate had been broken and the ornaments, cash and other valuables missing. Tiwari informed the managing committee of the temple. The police also reached there.

The residents also gathered there and demanded to arrest the thieves. They threatened to launch an agitation if the cops do not take action.

During the last one month, the thieves took away ashtadhatu idols, ornaments and cash from five temples in the city and bordering Ramabai Nagar district.
