Representation by ‘Mandir and Dharmik Sanstha Mahasangh’ to H. H. Swami Govind Dev Giri

Taking initiative to oppose the takeover of Hindu temples by Govt is a great mission unto the nation and Dharma : H.H. Swami Govind Dev Giri

Pune : Taking steps to oppose the Government’s takeover of Hindu temples is absolutely correct. Everyone in Democracy has religious freedom. The Government appears to be in opposite direction. Therefore to avoid any such thing it is essential to create public awareness and put in constitutional efforts; and you are doing just that. This is a great social work and Rashtrakarya. Congratulations to all of you for that. May God bless this mission and give you success and make the Government to take appropriate steps, opined H.H. Swami Swami Govind Dev Giri.

Priests, trustees, office bearers of various temples met H.H. Swami Swami Govind Dev Giri on behalf of ‘Mandir and Dharmik Sanstha Mahasangh’ on 14th July. A representation in that regard too was given to Him. He was speaking at that time.

Shri. Sunil Ghanvat, HJS coordinator of Maharashtra and Chhattisgad made H.H. Swami Swami Govind Dev Giri aware of Government’s efforts to take charge of temples, the pitiable condition of temples up till now, and how traditions are being forgotten today.
