Devotees should bear in mind that, the government that is spending so much public money in maintaining security, is not prepared to destroy the root cause of terrorism systematically due to vote politics.
An officer equivalent to the post of sub-inspector of police has been reappointed by Maharashtra Government to manage security system. That includes 164 permanent security employees and 468 securities (including armed securities) in addition, on contract basis have been appointed on behalf of 3 contractors. This information has been given in the yearly report of 2009-2010 that is furnished to the legislature by the trustees of Saibaba Sansthan.
In addition to this ‘C.C.T.V.’ cameras are installed for maintaining security. Metal detectors and armed securities are also diploid for regular check- ups at places like the main gate, line of devotees, entrance, etc. One of the devotees of Saibaba has offered 2 bullet-proof jackets worth 65 thousand was reported in a news published recently.
