BJP denied permission for Hindu Chetana procession by pro-Hindus organised demanding the of law banning conversions

Panaji : Last minute the permission was rejected by police for the rally of Hindu Chetana organised on 20th May from Swami Samarth Math in Shivoli demanding immediate action on Dominic couple creating rift among Hindus in the name of Believers’ and to pass the anti-conversion Bill. Therefore on that very evening pro-Hindus held a protest-meeting at the Bus terminus for which large number of pro-Hindus were present. Before that all pro-Hindus offered a collective prayer to Shri Bodageshwar after the permission for the procession was rejected.

Challenging the Hindu Chetana procession organised by pro-Hindus, a rally going to be held on 23rd May by followers of Believers’. The Govt. should deny permission to this rally. If it is not done then the rally will be disrupted, is the warning given by Gomantak Hindu Pratishthan. The Pratishthan also protested against Water Resource Minister, Vinod Palayekar for attending the birthday of Dominic, responsible for converting Hindus.
