Jalgaon : Lokmanya Tilak has been referred to as ‘Father of terrorism’ in the 8th standard textbook on Social Science for English medium schools in Rajasthan. It is an insult of Lokmanya Tilak and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) strongly condemns such insult. We shall not tolerate such insult. Rajasthan Government should take serious note of the matter and should immediately remove objectionable part from the textbook. This wrong has not happened inadvertently but it has been done deliberately to insult such great national leader. Stringent action should be taken against the publishers, printers of this book and guilty government officers. The book should be immediately withdrawn from circulation and all concerned persons should render public apology; else HJS will stage demonstrations all over the country. The above warning was given by Shri. Sunil Ghanavat, Maharashtra State Coordinator of HJS during a press conference held here.

Sanatan Sanstha’s ‘Sadguru’ Nandkumar Jadhav, advocate Govind Tiwari, Regional President of ‘Hindu Mahasabha’ and Shri. Vijay Patil of HJS shared the dais with Shri. Ghanvat.

The issue will be taken up in Hindu ‘Dharmajaruti Sabha’ scheduled to be held on 13th May at Bhusaval; along with signature drive to be undertaken on this occasion. Memorandum with thousands of signatures will be sent to Union Education Minister through the medium of District Collector, informed Shri. Ghanvat.
