Chiplun : Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha cancelled by administration

When there is no connection between the Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha and the disgrace caused to the statue of Dr. Ambedkar, giving the reason of law and order situation police and administration forcing the sabha to be cancelled is beyond reasoning. Chiplun : Some unknown persons disgraced the statue of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar in Khed in Dist. Ratnagiri. As a result the area nearby became very sensitive. Under this background an official letter was sent stating to cancel the Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha (to be held on 26th March) due to the danger of creating law and order situation. Police also cancelled the permission given to the sabha asking for the cooperation of the organisers. Thereafter the sabha that was to be held at Joshi Grounds, Bhogale, Taluka Chiplun at 5.30 p.m. was cancelled.

HJS informed that as soon as the next date is fixed, Dharmapremi in Taluka and district will be informed about it.
