Rally for Ram temple at Ayodhya

Karwar (Karnataka) : Hanuman Shakthi Jagarana Sameeti and other Hindu organizations took out a mammoth rally in Karwar on Sunday to press for the construction of a Ram Temple at Ayodhya.

A homa was organized at Hindu High School compound and thousands of people participated on Sunday. In the evening, more than 5000 people took part in the Shobha yatra through the main streets of Karwar. On Saturday, a bike rally was taken out by the activists of different Hindu organizations.

The rally culminated at the Mayuravarma Vedike at Karwar beach. Addressing the gathering Mangesh Bhende, general secretary of Rashtreeya Swayam Sevaka Sangh (RSS) said that some anti-Hindu forces in the country were trying to equate VHP with SIMI by coining the word saffron terror.

During the last Kumbha mela at Haridwar the Hindu sants had decided to speed up the agitation to build the temple. Hanuman Chalisa is being read in lakhs of temples all over the country. In Karwar taluk, the chalisa is being read in more than 35 temples he said.

Swami Bhaveshanandaji of Ramakrishna mutt said that the construction of a Rama temple at Ayodhya was inevitable. He asked for co-operation from muslims.
