National Hindu movement at Kanjurmarg (Mumbai)

Mumbai : When historical events are screened in a wrong manner the viewers take them to be true and that sends a wrong message in the society. In the film, ‘Bajirao- Mastani, Bajirao’s wife, Kashibai, is shown dancing; whereas the oncoming film ‘Padmavati’ the queen Padmavati is shown dancing in ‘Ghumar’ dance. Both these are distortions of history. Sanjay Sanjay Leela Bhansali should be arrested immediately for spreading a wrong message in the society by producing anti-history film, is the demand made by HJS’s Ranaragini wing’s spokesperson Mrs. Nayana Bhagat in the National Hindu Movement.

National Hindu Movement was held at Nutannagar Chowk in Kanjurmarg on 10th December. At this time other demands like, plastering of the idol of Shri Vitthal with chemiclal should be cancelled, ban the sale of crackers between 25th December to 1st January 2018 and cancel the Sunburn festival to be held in Pune, were made.

Shri Vitthal’s idol, the Seat of Faith in Maharashtra is not merely a thing of stone, we believe that the Principle of Shri Vitthal is active in it. Therefore guidance should be taken from authorities on Dharma, that is, Saints, Acharyas imparting Dharma-education etc. with regard to wearing of the idol and act according to scriptures.

Dr. Laxman Jathar of Sanatan Sanstha and Mr. Satish Sonar of HJS addressed the audiane. Mr. Jagannath Kadam of president of Panchamukhi SEva Sanstha, Mr. Papa Singh of Sitaram Seva Sanstha, Mr. Vinod Jain of Bajrang Dal (Bhandup) and Mr. Sandip Singh of Bajrang Dal (Goregao) were present on the occasion.
