Press Release

Temples are faith centers for Hindus. That is why Kings and Rulers had built and maintained temples for peace and harmony in society. However since Mogul, Britishers to the present antiHindu Rulers are attacking temples so as to destroy Hindu dharma.

In the year 2005, the Government of Maharashtra recommended the 15th Law Commission to Draft a Law to undertake about 4.50  Lakhs Hindu Temples & Dharmik Sanstas. Due to prolonged agitation lead by Temples and Dharmikh Sansthas, the Govt. kept this proposal aside. Now on 17.5.2010, the Law Minister Shri. Radhkrishana Vike Patil declared that the Government has decided to take over 2 Lakhs Temples. The Govt. also announced its decision to pass an Anti Superstition Bill which is detrimental to the Hindu Dharmik Rituals. It is significant that these laws are proposed in the motherland of Chatrapathi Shivaji Maharaj who sacrificed his life for protecting Hindutva.

Hence it has been unanimously decided to float a common forum called ‘Temples and Dharmik Sanstha Mahasangh, Maharashtra’. All hindu temples, Jain Temples, Gurudwaras and Dharmik sanstas needs to be affiliated to this forum., irrespective of regional, linguistic, cast, creed, community & Political Visions. This will help to unite and coordinate Temples and Dharmik Sanstha for the peace and prosperity of the mankind, also to prevent Demolition of Temples & Gurudwaras, to re construct & re sanctify the Temples Damged or demolished, to provide, Health & life Insurance Protection, legal, & Financial Assistance to Temples & Temple staff and its activists, to promote Dharma Shiksha Abhiyaan through Temples &Dharmik Sanstas for the new generation, Utilize the Temple reserve funds & Properties for providing relief of poverty, Medical aids to the Poor, and creation of Universal brotherhood among the common man.

Accordingly, Mahasangh based at Navi Mumbai will be officially launched on 14th NOvember 2010 at Julelal Temple Hall, Nerul at 4.30 P.M. All trustees of Mandir,Gurudwara,Jain Temples, proud Hindus and social workers are cordially invited for this launching cermoney.
