Demonstrations against ‘Sunburn’ festival at Moshi (Chinchwad)

Local residents and ‘Hindutvavadis’ have to stage agitations again and again, for protection of own culture, is a very shameful matter for the Government !

Devout Hindus staging demonstrations at Moshi (Chinchwad)

Moshi (Chinchwad) : Saints Dnyaneshwar Maharaj and Tukaram Maharaj devoted their life for spread of spirituality, revival of culture and building of virtuous society. Alandi and Dehu are places of pilgrimage, sanctified since these two Saints had stayed there and are places of worship of millions of devotees. Now, at Moshi in ‘Pimpri-Chinchwad Navanagar Pradhikaran’, near these Saints’ lands, ‘Sunburn’ festival is likely to be held at Pune International Exhibition and Convention Centre. Sale of tickets for this festival has already started without getting any permission required to hold the program. Holding of such ‘Sunburn’ festival known for free availability of drugs, encouraging addictions and promiscuity, was strongly opposed under ‘Sant-bhoomi ani Sanskruti Rakshan’ movement, staging demonstrations on 8th October at Moshi Chowk.

‘Hindutvavadis’ make a resolve to drive out ‘Sunburn’ festival not just from Moshi but from India

‘Warkari Sampradaya’ will intensely oppose to the proposal of holding perverted ‘Sunburn’ festival at Moshi near pilgrimage places of Alandi-Dehu. It is a ploy to bring materialism of western countries to India. Members of all parties should keep aside their politics for some time and unite to oppose this festival being held in Saints’ land. It is the responsibility of youth to protect own culture. If the Government didn’t cancel this program, extensive movement would be undertaken against ‘Sunburn’ festival.
