HJS participated in a protest organised by Shivsena, Tamilnadu

Shivsena, Tamilnadu organised a protest meeting at Valluvar Kottam, Chennai on 15th November placing few demands to the Central and State Government. The demands made were,

  • Actor Kamal Hasan should be arrested for his denigrating remarks against Hindus.
  • Government should hand over the administration of temples to Dharmabhimanis in Tamilnadu.
  • The Hindu cemetery at Moolakothalam which is taken over by slum clearance board should be given back.
  • The GST on essential commodities should be further reduced.
  • Around 60 Hindutwawadis from various Hindu organisations participated in the protest. On behalf of HJS Sri. Kashinath Shetti and Pujya (Sou) Uma Ravichandran participated and spoke about the need of handing over the temple administration from HR and CE to Dharmabhimanis.

Various Hindu leaders like Shri. Kodambakkam Sri, Shri.R.D.Prabhu, Shri. Meenakshi Sundaram, Shri. Narayanan, Shri. Shivakumar, Shri. Bose, Shri. Veera Vasanthakumar, Shri. Vijayakumar and many other Shivsena members spoke during the program. Ms. Lekha Sankaran, an advocate assured to file a case in High court against actor Kamal Hasan.
