HJS demands action against Chinese crackers and crackers with picture of Deities

Impose ban on crackers with pictures of Deities and crackers made in China, demand through representation submitted in Sindhudurg District

Why such demand has to be made every year with the Govt.? Chinese crackers cause excess pollution; so why doesn’t the Govt. realize it and impose ban on such crackers ?

Shindudurg : There is illegal sale of Chinese crackers, in the background of Diwali festival, which cause excessive pollution. Pictures of Hindus’ Deities and great national leaders are printed on covering of crackers; causing denigration of Deities and insult of national leaders leading to not only hurting religious sentiments of Hindus but it is also attack on national identity. Manufacture and sale of such crackers should be stopped by the Government, was the demand made by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) through a representation submitted to police, local administration and local elected representatives.

Malwan : Representation was submitted to Tehasildar Samir Ghare, PI Arvind Bodake, municipal councilor Mandar Keni and Jagadish Gaokar by ‘Hindutvavadis’ viz. Shri. Shivaji Desai, Shri. Madhusudan Sarang, Shri. Ratnakar Kolambkar, Shri. Shirish Naik, Shri. Prakash Kadam and Shri. Lakshman Kurle.

Dy. zonal Police Officer Padmaja Chavan accepting representation at Kanakavali

Kanakavali : Representation was submitted to Dy. zonal Police Officer Padmaja Chavan and Tehasildar Smt. Vaishali Mane by ‘Hindutvavadis’ viz. Shri. Nandu Arolkar, Patankar Guruji, Shri. Digambar Patil, Shri. Sachin Tejsingh; Shri. Shridhar Musale of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) and Shri. Jayawant Samant of Sanatan Sanstha.

Sawantwadi : Representation was submitted to Tehasildar Satish Kadam and assistant PI Arun Jadhav. Shri. Sitaram Mhapankar, Shri. Sharad Parab of ‘Dainik Sanatan Prabhat’, Shri. Chandrakant Bile of HJS, Shri. Ankush Gawas, former Principal, Sanatan Sanstha’s Shri. Shankar Nikam and advocate Vaibhav Chavan were present on the occasion.

Devagad : Nayab Tehasildar Govind Sawant, Dy. PI Govind Warang were given representation by Shri. Anand Mondkar of HJS, Shri. Aniruddha Dahibavkar, Shri. Vijay Pawar, Shri. Ashok Karangutkar and Sou. Sheetal Patil of Sanatan Sanstha were present.

Kudal : Ajay M. Gholawe, Tehasildar and PI Avinash Bhosale were given the representation by ‘Hindutvavadis’ viz. Dr. Kiran Hiraje, Dr. Sanjay Samant, Vaidya Suvinay Damle, Pappu Gawade, Parashuram Vengurlekar, Nitin Sadavelkar, Abhijit Hadkar and HJS volunteers viz. Anand Naik, Santosh Gawade, Vasudev Tendolkar and Sou. Nilima Samant.

Representation submitted to Police and State Administration by HJS at Pune

Pune : Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) submitted representations to officers from Police Department and local administration with demand that action should be taken against sellers of Chinese crackers and crackers with pictures of Hindu Deities and great national leaders.

The representations were submitted to District Collector Rajendra Muthe, Police Inspector (PI) Bhat from Special Branch; senior PI Anil Patil from Dattawadi police station; Dy PI Bhagavan Gurav of Swargate police station; senior PI Vishnu Jagatap of Sinhgad Rastha police station; Administrative Officer Ashish Mahadadakar of Municipal Corporation. PIs Anil Patil and Vishnu Jagatap responded positively; promising to issue circular in this connection.
