Address of fanatics writing threatening letter to Sanatan Ashram turns out to be fake

Miraj (Maharashtra): A letter to the effect that we would use arms against ‘kafirs’ like ‘Dainik Sanatan Prabhat’, ‘Dainik Tarun Bharat’, ‘Sanskrutik Vartapatra’, Hindu Mahasabha and ‘Dainik Hindu’ was received on 13th October on the address of Sanatan’s ashram at  Miraj. The joint investigation conducted by the police from Miraj and Solapur has proved that the address mentioned by the sender is fake. If the accused is not found, the matter will be handed over to the Crime Branch of the State Government. The above information  was given by Mr. Sahebrao Pawar, the Assistant Police Inspector (API) from Miraj city police station to the reporter of ‘Dainik Sanatan Prabhat’. The letter received from ‘Maula Rafiq Shaikh (Phulari), c/o advocate Beskar, Madhala Maruti, Solapur – 413002 was received at Sanatan’s ashram and a complaint has been lodged by ‘Dainik Sanatan Prabhat’. It was registered under clause 506 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) by the police as non-cognizable offence. Mr. Balasaheb Reddy, Police Inspector asked Mr. Pawar, API to go to Solapur and make enquiry of Shaikh. Mr. Pawar met Mr. Chandrakant Shinde, PI, Solapur in this connection. He conducted investigation with the help of Constable Mr. Swami and Mr. Palkar.

No person with the name Maula Shaikh (Phulari) lives on the address given in the letter. There is a shop called ‘Apsara General  Stores’ on the said address which is owned by Haji Mohammad Khalid Beskar. When Beskar was asked about it, he said that there was no connection between the two. In the area of ‘Madhala Maruti’ there is only one shop of Beskar. His residential address is 9/76, Raviwar Peth, Solapur. There is a mention of advocate Beskar in the said letter. There is one advocate in the family of Beskar who is a  government pleader but he does not get along with his elder brother and father and he is living at Madha (Solapur) for the past 3 years. The parents in the family work as special executive officer. The police also checked the hand-writing of Haji Mohammad Khalid but his hand-writing and that in the letter was found to be different. There are people selling flowers in that area but there is no ‘Phulari’ or  ‘Shaikh’ among them. Mr. Pawar informed that Beskar family would be called to Miraj soon for enquiry.

Miraj (Maharashtra) : Maula Rafiq Sheikh, a fanatic from Solapur has written a threatening letter against ‘kafirs’ like ‘Dainik Sanatan Prabhat’, ‘Dainik Tarun Bharat’, ‘Sanskrutik Vartapatra’, Hindu Mahasabha and Hindus. The letter has been sent to the office of Dainik ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ that weapons would have to be used against the above ‘kafirs’. (The letter exhibits hatred of Sheikh towards Hindus. Hindus must remember that the police would not hesitate to claim that Sheikh is mentally imbalanced and let him off without taking any action; therefore, Hindus must increase their ‘Dharmatej’ by taking ‘Dharma-shikshan’ to stop such fanatics. ! – Editor SP) ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ had received similar letter about two years back threatening ‘Saamna’ and ‘Tarun Bharat’; but police were unable to trace its origin. (Such police are responsible for fanatics becoming so insolent ! – Editor SP) The sender of the letter has mentioned his address as – ‘M. R. Sheikh (Phulari), C/O Advocate Beskar, Madhala Maruti, Solapur – 413002. The ‘Inland’ letter dated 5th October was received at ‘Sanatan’s ashram in Brahmanpuri. Moon and a star have been drawn on the top of the letter and 786 is written in Urdu. The letter sent by Sheikh is given below as it is –

Editor, ‘Dainik Sanatan Prabhat’,

The reason to write this letter is, your periodicals (Sanatan Prabhat) and ‘Sanskrutik Vartapatra (Pune), Daink Saamna, Dainik Tarun Bharat, Dainik Navakal etc. do not write about anything except Islam, fanatics, jihad and Pakistan. It is difficult to understand that why you feel so much of harshness, jealousy towards fanatics and if it is your only means of livelihood that you see only fanatics everywhere, we are sorry to say that it is the defect in your shameless, incompetent journalism. (All these newspapers have published the truth so far. Of course, the one, who is suffering from Hindu hatred, is bound to criticize in this manner. – Editor SP)

We accepted the verdict passed by the Court on Ayodhya’s Babri Mosque, Ram-mandir etc. but if Hindu Sabha is not ready to give even an inch of land, remember that we are not cowards. Presently, RSS, VHP and BJP have taken a stance of harmony and we welcome that. If newspapers like Dainik ‘Sanatan Prabhat’, ‘Sanskrutik Vartapatra (Pune)’ are going to spit venom against fanatics and publish distorted news against fanatics, if Hindu Sabha is not going to give even an inch of land to Babri Committee, please note that we will have no alternative but to use weapons against such ‘kafirs’, against our enemies. (Hindus must pay no heed to such threats as fanatics are in the habit of finding some excuse to outdo Hindus. fanatics like Sheikh are becoming so impudent because they know that ideologically circumcised Congress, kowtowing to fanatics, would not take any action against fanatics. Congress needs to be ousted to put a curb on fanatics. – Editor SP)

O Kafirs, presently, Kashmir is under our control. Ramu Paswan, Mulayam Singh Yadav, Omar Abdullah are our people; even your Ramdas Athavale is our man. Hindu kafirs, if you do not want peace, please remember that we are also prepared for that. Although in Allahabad High Court, the decision about ‘Rama’ is gone in favour of ‘kafirs’ like you, our Babri Committee is still fighting the case in Supreme Court.
