Ratnagiri (Maharashtra): In the background of Court’s verdict on Ramjanma-bhoomi case, notices have been issued from Lanja police station to Mr. Samir Ghorpade of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) and other five pro-Hindus. (There is not a single example of Hindus causing social disharmony in religious matters; even then, the effort of the Government to show off its secularism, is making Hindus a scapegoat ! – Editor SP) The notice, issued under the name of Police Inspector S. N. Pokle, says that ‘in the background of Court’s verdict expected on 28th September in case of Ramjanma-bhoomi issue, care should be taken that in Lanja town or taluka, no such act should be done by the said persons that would violate law and order situation. In case, there is breach of law and order occurring due to the said persons, action would be taken against them.’ (It is an idea of the police to hold HJS activists responsible for any untoward incident that might occur after the verdict ! – Editor SP). The notice is issued with my signature and stamp.’
