HJS submits representation to police against giving permission to Kanhiaya Kumar’s program

Police Joint Commissioner Ravindra Kadam accepting representation from ‘Hindutvavadis’

Pune : Kanhaiya Kumar known for making anti-national statements and Shehla Rashid taking out march in support of those raising anti-national slogans should not be allowed to hold a program in Pune and to give public speech. A representation to the above effect was submitted to Joint Police Commissioner Ravindra Kadam and Dy. Commissioner, Special Branch Sanjaykumar Baviskar by representatives of pro-Hindu organizations viz. Shri. Shailendra Dixit of ‘Hindu Ekata Andolan’, advocate Prashant Yadav, Shri. Dhumal guruji, astrologer, Shri. Arun Shukla, Shri. Surendrakumar Kayat, Shri. Krushnaji Patil and Shri. Deepak Agawane of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) and Shri. Pravin Naik of Sanatan Sanstha.

When told by HJS that it did everything in lawful manner, Joint Commissioner Kadam said, “Everything has to be done in lawful manner. We cannot refuse permission but we shall certainly take necessary precautions. We shall take action if illegal statements are made. There is ‘jagruti’ in your name; so you create awareness.” Dy. Commissioner Baviskar also promised to take necessary action.
