Such unity is also expected of devout Hindus against anti-Dharma activities !  

Khanaour (Dist. Belgaum, Karnataka): Mr. Prahlad Remani, BJP MLA made a statement against conversion on 15th August in the flag-hoisting program. What he said is the truth and nobody need to get angry; in fact, his statement has created awareness among Hindus.

Bhagavan Shri Krushna has also said that ‘If you surrender to me, I will solve all your problems.’ The Hindus, who are getting lured by inducements, should realize the greatness of Hindu Dharma. A Hindu will never oppress anyone belonging to other sects; but they will not tolerate injustice either. Nobody should dare to look at Hindus crookedly; else such eyes will be destroyed. The above warning was given by Mr. Vivek Sinnarkar, the zonal-chief of Pune for Vishwa Hindu Parishada (VHP).

Protest Rally by devout Hindus to protest against Conversion by Christians

A rally was taken out by 4000 Christians on 18th August to protest against the statement made by MLA Mr. Remani. More than 8000 Hindus came on the road in reply to that rally. Mr. Sinnarkar addressed the gathering as the rally concluded. The rally started in the morning from Sreeram Temple and it was taken through Bazarpeth, Hosmani Gully, Chirmurkar Gully, Station Road etc. and reached Tehsildar’s office. There was a saffron flag in the beginning of the rally which was joined by warakari dindis and other Hindus. Slogans were raised against conversions and for victory of Hindu Dharma. Hindus were carrying banners that said ‘Conversion is like changing of nationality’, ‘Conversion is an offence under the law’. There were several women who had taken part in the rally. Near Tehsildar’s office, the rally was converted into a meeting.

‘Vedamurty’ Sri Sri Sri Siddharamayya Swami of Daulati Mutt said, “Hindus should prepare themselves to sacrifice their body, mind and wealth.” He felicitated Mr. Suresh Chalawadi for driving away the missionaries who had come to convert people from his village. A representation was submitted to Tehsildar Ghugaratti wherein it has been mentioned that ‘The missionaries have so far lured 150 Hindu families and converted them. The increasing conversions in Khanapur should be stopped else, Hindus will have to take some action.’

Many dignitaries like Sri Sri Sri Shandilya Swami of Avroli Mutt, Dr. P. J. Shinde, the district-president of Belgaum for VHP, Mr. R. P. Joshi and Sadanand Kapileshwari of RSS, Mr. Santosh Daftardar of Sreeram Sene, Mr. Suhas Patil of Bajarang Dal, Mr. Sanjay Kubal of BJP, Mr. Govindrao Kirmate of Shiv Sena, Mr. Baburao Desai, a member of Zilha-panchayat, Mr. Yallappa Patil of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, Mr. Koneri Wadkar of Sanatan Sanstha took part in the rally.
