Hindus, pay gratitude at the Holy Feet of Sree Krushna for this success !

Hindus, stop the ‘governmentalization’ of temples, else you will have to be ready for such agitations everyday !

Shirdi (Maharashtra): The decision to utilize the donations offered by the devotees at Shirdi for construction of airport has been withdrawn. (Hindus, pay gratitude at the Feet of Srikrushna for the success achieved by Sai-devotees’ agitation! Such wrong decisions are imposed on Hindus because of the ‘governmentalization’ of temples; therefore, along with Sai-devotees, all Hindus should strongly protest against taking over management of temples by the Government. – Editor SP) The Minister for Law and Justice Radhakrushna Vikhe-Patil declared on Wednesday night withdrawal of the above decision as paying respect to the people’s feelings. (What justice will be given by such ministers who wake up only after agitations are staged and who do not even realize that the offerings made by devotees, should be utilized for the benefit of devotees? – Editor SP)

The agitation started by the devotees has also been withdrawn in view of this change in the decision. The earlier decision was taken about two years back as the management of the Shirdi-sansthan was taken over by the Government; but when the Sai-devotees came to know about the same, they opposed the decision. Also, MP Balasaheb Vikhe-Patil, the father of Minister for Law and Justice had strongly criticized the said decision and Radhakrushna Vikhe-Patil had to bow before him.

Devotees’ Rs. 100 crores to be utilized for airport by Shirdi Sansthan

Adverse effects of ‘govermentalization’ of temples

Shirdi (Maharashtra): Out of the funds donated by devotees at Sai Mandir, Rs.100 crores are going to be utilized for construction of airport. (How can the secular Government spend the money donated by Hindus in their temples as if it is the ancestral property of the Government? Will the Government even think of utilizing money collected in a worship centre of followers of other sects for the benefit of the public? Hindus must unite to permanently stop such anti-Hindu acts of the Government. – Editor SP) The ‘Shirdi Sanstha’ must utilize the donations offered by devotees for religious things or for social work. (Hindus must know that the money collected in temples is not for social service but it is proper to use only for religious activities. When such money is used for religious activities, the spiritual strength of the people rises and it helps to keep the social health in good condition ! – Editor SP)

The devotees have opposed this move as the airport is being constructed for the people from higher strata of society. (Congratulations to Sai-devotees for promptly opposing the improper utilization of temple funds! Sai-devotees must not only follow up this matter till end but should also strongly oppose, in lawful manner, ‘governmentalization’ of temples. It is a kind of ‘sadhana’ to save religious places from corrupt Government ! – Editor SP)

Sai-devotees oppose taking ‘paduka’ of Sree Sai to London

A conference of Sai-devotees has been organized in London on 19th September. Shirdi Sansthan has decided to take ‘padukas’ of Sree Saibaba for this conference; but the devotees have opposed this decision. They had opposed even last year when it was decided to take the ‘padukas’ to USA. The local residents who are angry with such decisions said that the ‘paduka’ of Sree Saibaba are sacred and when they are carried by aero plane, their sanctity will be affected. (Christians are devout and powerful country like USA supports Christianity; therefore, whenever the Pope travels anywhere in the world, the sanctity is maintained throughout his journey; but Hindus have no recognition anywhere; therefore, such doubt of maintaining the sacredness of ‘paduka’ of Sree Sai is raised. – Editor SP) None of the things of Sree Saibaba, worshipped by devotees, will be allowed to be taken out of Shirdi. (Will the Government sponsored secular management of the temple and the rulers take care of the religious sentiments of the devotees of Sree Saibaba who are worried for the sacredness of the ‘padukas’? Or will they force Hindus to start another agitation? – Editor SP)
