Are the powerful pro-Hindu organizations going to take action or going to keep mum as usual ?

Uran(Raigad, Maharashtra): On Independence Day, the idol of Sree Narayan was found broken from leg, left hand of idol of Sree Lakshmi Devi and side of ear of the statue of Eagle were also found damaged.  (Hindus must note that it is only due to the anti-Hindu attitude of the Congress that there are still descendants of Mohammad Gazani alive in this country. The incidents of idol-breaking started in the anti-Hindu State Government of Goa, are now spreading even in Maharashtra. Anti-Hindus are, in a way, trying to destroy the ‘altar’ of the society by attacking temples. Lack of unity among Hindus and their indifference towards objects of worship are the causes of such incidents. It is necessary to impart training to Hindus on matters related to their Dharma and extensive unity among Hindus to bring about change in the present condition ! – Editor SP) About 2000 devout Hindus gathered immediately as they came to know about the said incident and they observed ‘bandh’. Shopkeeprs also joined the ‘Bandh’ by closing down the shutters.

Brahman sabha’ was held in Sree Lakshminarayan Temple in the afternoon which has been constructed from the donations collected from devotees and ‘Brahman Sabha’ from Market Chowk. Within few hours after the ‘sabha’, the above referred damage was observed. Mr. Katdare from the Temple Trust lodged a complaint with Uran Police Station. The news spread like a fire. The police reached the place of incident. They, as usual, raised a doubt that the act must have been committed by some mentally deranged person. (This shows the hatred among the police in a pro-Muslim Congress regime towards Hindus. Had such thing happened with minorities, would the police show guts to talk in such manner? But Hindus are not united and therefore, the police are daring to make such statements ! – Editor SP) Mr. Ramesh Thakur, a devout Hindu and former Mayor of Uran admonished the police. He said, “Investigations have not yet started and on what basis are you saying that it is the job of a mad person. You carry out investigations properly and find the culprit.” (A devout like Mr. Thakur is the true strength of Hindu Dharma! Congratulations to Mr. Thakur for stopping the police from misleading people! Other Hindus can follow his example ! – Editor SP) Then the police assured to investigate the matter. (Why can’t the police do their duty without advice from others? – Editor) Hundreds of Hindus gathered near the Temple within no time. The Superintendent of Police, senior Police Inspector, 7 police sub-inspectors and policemen also reached the scene. Hindus squatted in the temple demanding that within 8 days, the police should nab the offenders. This squatting agitation was called off when the police officials promised to catch the culprit. A case has been registered and Senior Police Inspector Kothavale and Police Inspector Daundkar are investigating the matter. The security has been tightened at many places along with Sree Lakshminarayan Temple. The local residents feel that the Muslims who have come from other States and some miscreants must be involved in the case.

Arrest the offenders within 8 days ! – Ramesh Thakur

Mr. Ramesh Thakur, the former Mayor of Uran said, “The offenders should be arrested within 8 days; else the Hindus will take the police to task.

Congratulations to all Hindus who have come together in Uran !”

The act of damaging idols, like it used to happen during the regime of Tughalaq, should be struck back by Hindus in the manner Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj would have done ! – Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS)

Mr. Ramesh Shinde, the spokesperson of HJS for Maharashtra and Goa States said about the incident, “Lack of unity among Hindus is the cause of increase in incidents of damaging idols in Hindu temples. Indifference of Hindus is also responsible for the same. There were riots when Babri structure was demolished. Every year, that day is observed as ‘Black Day’ in the country; but in Goa State, in 129 temples idols have been damaged or there are cases of destruction of temples but police are unable to find the offenders. The police administration is indifferent due to lack of unity among Hindus. It is a good thing that in Uran, hundreds of Hindus have come together against damage of idols. Hindus should not keep quiet till the cases of destruction of idols are not solved. The descendants of Alluddin Khilji and Mohammad Tughalaq are still alive in this country and Hindus should take action against them like Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Only then, there will be a curb on such incidents.”
