National Hindu movement demands through demonstrations at Mapusa (Goa)

Mapusa : Hindu Organisations under the banner of National Hindu Movement staged demonstrations at Mapusa Municipal Market, main gate today demanding to arrest criminals  vandalising the Sacred Shrine at Nerul and robbing the Idol of Shri Kalimata, by putting them behind the bars immediately, all the This was a part of the nationwide National Hindu Movement.

After offering a coconut to the local Deity the demonstrations commenced after having recited Shri Ganesh’s shlok. Initially Dr. Manoj Solanki of National Hindu Movement explained the purpose of the movement in his introductory speech. After that the devout Hindu speakers made various demands in their speeches. Miscreants have deleberately hurt the religious feelings of the residents of Nerul and state govt. should handle this matter very seriously. The Central Government should honour the national feelings of the Indians by canceling the programmes of the exhibition cum sale by the name ‘Shan-e-Pakistan’ scheduled to be held on 11th and 12th September and the entertainment programme named ‘Ek sham Pakistanke nam’ to be held on 10th September. The Central Government should define first who are the minorities and what is its scheme in that regard and implement it. Central govt. should implement Common civil code in the country. So also, strict action must be taken against the anti-nationals unfurling Pakistan’s flag and that of I.S.I.S. with a view to stop the increasing attraction among youth in the country towards I.S.I.S. The Central Government should take the lead to declare Nepal as a Hindu nation. Compering of the demonstrations and vote of thanks was done by Mr. Rahul Vaze. In the end, Mr. Govind Chodankar, Convener of North Goa, proposed the demands.
