It has now become clear that the anti-Hindu proposed Bill for eradication of superstitions will be discussed during winter session of the Legislative Assembly (LA).

Mumbai: It has now become clear that the Congress Government is going to present the controversial old anti-supestitions Bill of the year 2005 in the forthcoming monsoon session, betraying Hindu and Jain organisations.

Mumbai: Revised anti-superstitions Bill can be put up in the coming monsoon session for approval after removing the word ‘Manasik’ from the controversial anti-Dharma Bill, as Minister Naseem Khan objected this word.

Andha-shraddha Nirmulan Samiti (ANiS) had planned to stage agitations on the ‘Azad Maidan’; but the other more influential agitations undertaken in the adjacent area resulted in ANiS winding up its agitation in a short while.

In the meeting of legislature, the anti-superstitions Bill will be amended and approved. This Act will not put any restrictions on Warakari Sect and performing of ‘puja’ etc

HJS is presently staging agitation against the proposed anti-superstitions Act in different parts of the State. HJS has been spreading rumours about this Act which is an offence; therefore, the Government should take a firm stand on this Act, demanded Dr. Dabholkar, the Chief Executive of Maharashtra Andha-shraddha Nirmulan Samiti (ANiS) in a press conference held here.

Mumbai: The Government is very keen to pass the Bill in the guise of eradication of superstitions which, in fact, imposes restrictions on Hindu Dharma and its followers.

Mumbai: The Chief Minister Pruthviraj Chavan promised Dr. Narendra Dabholkar, the Chief Executive of Andha Shraddha Nirmulan Samiti (ANS) that the Government will take positive steps for passing of the Act.

Mumbai: Bill on eradication of superstitions in CM’s office for approval of cabinet ministers so that it can be put up for the discussion in state's Legislative Assembly.

The Chief Minister should give a similar promise to the Andha-shradhha Nirmulan Samiti (ANS) with regard to passing of the Act. The above appeal was made by Dr. Narendra Dabholkar
