There is a need to light the sacred fire of ‘Dharmarakshan’ like Shivaji Maharaj ! – Mr. Vinay Panwalkar

Kolhapur (Maharashtra): One does not get freedom to follow one’s Dharma by just making a demand. The sacred fire earlier lighted by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj for establishment of Hindvi Swaraj and ‘Dharmarakshan (Protection of Dharma)’ has presently turned cold. There is a need to light it once again and we will do it through the medium of these ‘Dharmasabhas’. The above statement was made by Mr. Vinay Panwalkar of ‘Dharmashakti Sena’. Hindu ‘Dharmajagruti Sabha’ was held yesterday at Dudhali grounds at 5.30 p.m. Mr. Ramesh Shinde, the spokesperson of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) for the States of Maharashtra and Gujarat, Mrs. Gauri Khilare of ‘Ranaragini’ and Prof. Rajendra Thakur also addressed the ‘Sabha’.

Why are Muslims so concerned about Afzal Khan ? – Mr. Ramesh Shinde, HJS

Mr. Ramesh Shinde said, “Afzal Khan was an enemy of the ‘Swarajya’ and Hindus. Why do Muslims get hurt on his issue? We can create identity of ‘Hinduttva’ by making a film with title ‘My name is Gokhale or Patil’ in reply to the film ‘My name is Khan’. ‘Valentine Day’ is not celebrated even by the Christians and therefore, Hindus also should not celebrate it on 14th February.

‘Now the need is to act !’ – Mr. (Prof.) Rajendra Thakur

Prof. Rajendra Thakur said, “If our arms and wrists are strong, even leader like Abu Azmi will be ready to water our fields. The day Afzal Khan was slain, was the start of true history. Cowardly rulers need to be overthrown to bring back good days for Hindus. Hindus should not now just listen and keep quiet but they need to act.”

Few special resolutions passed in the ‘Sabha’

1. Stringent action should be taken against those who are attacking the Ashrams of Saint Asaram Bapu and Sanatan.
2. The surcharge levied on travel undertaken by Hindus for pilgrimage should be immediately withdrawn and they should be given concession in journey fare.
3. The Act against slaughtering of cows and ‘Equal Civic Act’ should be passed
4. A Saint from the district commented after the ‘sabha’ that Mr. Ramesh Shinde of HJS is another Thackeray.
