TV9 is a very popular news channel in AP. Crores of people watch this channel every day. They have denigrated our “Mahabharatha” in a very horrible manner. Hindus must protest against it & TV9 should apologise to Hindus for defaming Lord Krushna & other characters in ‘Mahabharat’.

Why we must stop such Denigration of Hindu Deities?

TV9 is a very popular news channel in AP. Crores of people watch this channel every day. They have denigrated our “Mahabharat” in a very horrible manner.

Anchor “Kishor Das” himself acted as “Shakuni” and asks the audience if he suits the character and says that he trimmed his beard to look the part.

The Anchor invites “Y.S.Rajashekhar Reddy” as “Duryodhana” saying that he is not a bad man and that he is good and big.

Later  he invites “N.Chandrababu Naidu” as “Bhima” comments on him as though his body is weak and says, ‘We still consider him as Bhima because he is the opposition leader of AP’ and as he comes they have shown him in a dishonourable way and his behavior comes across in a very disgusting manner.

The anchor invites “Raghavalu” as “Dhrutarashtra”, while his name is announced they show him urinating and suddenly he rushes to the sabha saying, ‘Dhrutarashtra should be awarded for the way he managed to be blind’.

The other characters are “Chiranjeevi” as “Arjuna”, “K.C.R” as “Draupadi” , “Devender Goud” as “Dharmaraj”, “DS” as “Dushyasana”. When they show Dushyasana entering, he comes in holding Draupadi in his arms.

 Now the anchor asks everyone to sit, however there are only 3 chairs. Draupadi sits on Duryodhana and when the anchor asks Draupadi to get up, she says, ‘Amongst all Duryodhana is the most powerful and so I wish to sit on his lap, allow me to sit on his lap’.

Draupadi comes and asks the anchor, ‘I am not comfortable with the sari bit. Whoever is going to pull my sari, ask them to pull it quick, as I have lot of work to attend to’. Then the anchor replies that for the vastraharan there is some more time, and so asks her to‘ please wait’.

They have shown that Draupadi, Duryodhana and Dushyasana belong to one team and Arjuna, Bhima and Dharmaraj are in another team.

Now the anchor shoots some questions and a fight is created amongst both the teams. During the fight, the anchor asks Draupadi, ‘You belong to the Pandavas team, so why are you with Duryodhana?’ she replies, ‘I like Duryodhana’.

In between the play, Draupadi comments on her costumes and says to remove her sari soon. During some political conversation Duryodhana asks Dushyasana to leave the sabha along with him as the anchor is pulling out information on his personal life with his questions.  Dushyasana replies, ‘I came here to pull Draupadis sari.’ Draupadi stops them saying, ‘If you both leave then the Pandavas will win, so you stay back and I will make you win.’

When the anchor asks Chiranjeevi some question, he replies says, ‘I have acted in many movies but have never had the role of Arjuna, however when you gave me this character role, I felt very happy. So don’t ask me anything’.

When the anchor says that there are many topics we need to discuss now, such as the import of ‘Tur dal’ and NTR visuals on U-Tube, Draupadi interrupts and says, ‘Don’t waste time and tell me who is going to remove my sari. If no one removes it, will you remove it or else let me know if I should remove it myself’.  The Anchor asks Dushyasana to remove her sari and Dushyasana comes to do so and Draupadi herself helps him in pulling the sari.

Later Draupadi prays to Krishna for help, while Shakuni encourages Dushyasana. Later Dushyasana says that he is fed up pulling the sari and asks why Krishna doesn’t come sooner and then he abuses Krishna for not coming soon. Now everyone starts abusing Krishna for not coming soon and Bhima says that he was fed up seeing all this exposure  and asks that Krishna be called immediately.

Now when Krishna enters the sabha (the person who acts as Lord Krishna looks horrible and has immature expressions), Shakuni asks, ‘Who are you’, and he says, ‘I am Krishna Paramatma’. Shakuni says, ‘I think even your makeup is not set as ours’. Krishna replies, ‘It’s because of poverty and I am late because I had to drive a rikshwa and so am very tired’.

Now Obama enters the sabha and asks what’s happening and when he learns of the situation he says, ‘Even I like pulling saris’ and starts pulling. Even Duryodhana joins him saying, ‘I am enjoying pulling the sari’. Dhrutarashtra says, ‘I am blind and have missed the chance of seeing vastrabharan’. Now Arjuna enters and says even I can pull the sari and starts pulling the sari and encourages Obama also and then even Dharmaraj joins the group pulling Draupadis sari.

Now everyone in the sabha including Dhrutarashtra and Shakuni starts pulling the sari. Seeing this, Krishna says, ‘If it was Draupadi’s vastraharan then I would have given more sarees but it is the vastraharan of KCR so even I will have a go at pulling it’ and he starts pulling at the saree.

Finally they end with the caption…

“Take it lightly, this is to make everyone laugh and not to hurt anyone, why don’t you understand”.
