Setu-samudram project' is Govt's methodic plan to hurt Hindu feelings - Dr. Subramanyam Swami

Mumbai (Maharashtra): ‘Arrest of Shankaracharya, prohibition on Dharmacharya to carry His ‘Danda’ during His air travel, destruction of ‘Ram-setu’ etc. are the methodic assaults by the Government on objects of worship of Hindus. When faith is destroyed, society is weakened and it is easy to convert such people. This is the real objective behind demolishing ‘Ram-setu’. The above statement was made by Dr. Subramanyam Swamy, the President of Janata Party.

Dr. Swamy was the main speaker in a program held on behalf of ‘Rameshwaram Ram-setu Raksha Manch’ and ‘Indian History Compilation Committee (Konkan Zone)’. He said, "It is not important to prove with the help of science, whether ‘Ram-setu’ is natural or man-made; but Hindus have faith in ‘Ram-setu’ and this reason is enough. Scientific proofs can be obtained later as was found in case of existence of Saraswati River and Dwaraka." He said further that 5 commissions before the Congress Government took over in 2004 had put up alternate plans against demolition of ‘Ram-setu’. But this Government has found a new approach so that the ‘Ram-setu’ would be demolished. The Government’s intentions are quite clear. Now the fight is between ‘Om and Rome." In a case fought in Punjab High Court about Brahma-sarovar (lake) in Kurukshetra, the Court had passed a verdict that if people have faith in Brahma Lake, there is no need to find any proof and their faith is sufficient. Even now the same problem has arisen. But the Congress Government is trying to avoid finding answer to this problem.
Shri. Karunanidhi, the President of DMK has extended his support to the project as Karunanidhi claims to be an atheist and not a Hindu. He has been carrying out very insulting propaganda against Sree Rama for past so many decades. He has written many dishonorable things about Sree Rama and is generally against Sree Rama. We must remember this. Shri. Swamy said further that the Government changed the route of Metro railway when a petition was filed that Delhi Metro project is a danger to Qutub Minar. The Government spent additional 20 crores of rupees in changing the route. Historical importance of Qutub Minar is nothing against ‘Ram-setu’. But the Government believes only in buttering minorities. The rulers want to prove to the minorities by demolishing ‘Ram-setu’that they do not care for Hindus. He said that as Indian Government is indifferent towards the demand to declare ‘Ram-setu’ as a historical monument, he would appeal to the Government of Sri Lanka for the same. (Hindus must realize that it would be shameful if help of another country is sought to save ‘Ram-setu’. They should try their best to save ‘Ram-setu’ - Editor)

Dr. Durgesh Samant, all India spokesperson of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS), Shri. Ramesh Shinde, its spokesperson for the State of Maharashtra, Shri. Shivanand Prabhu, HJS spokesperson for Southern India and Shri. Shivaji Vatkar, the Mumbai coordinator of HJS called on Dr. Swamy and briefed him about activities of HJS and various drives undertaken by it. Dr. Swamy was also informed about distortion of Indian Map on CNN-IBN and BBC TV channels, representation submitted to the Central Government in this regard and Govt’s inaction. Dr. Swamy asked for the relevant papers in the matter and assured to take up the issue with the Government.

If the proposition of the Archeological ( Govt of India) is that the bridge is formed due to sand formation over the years then why it is not formed elsewhere except at a distance of 35 KM between and Sri Lanks. The name and place of Rameshwram and the place called Sri Lanka and the Ram Setu Bridge has some definite identity that needs to be thoroughly probed which gives correct views of its existence and importance. If in valmiki Ramayana which is several thousand years old has a mention of this route then how came its existence be untrue. India is only the country for Hindus; Ram Setu is the only left over identity of the Ram Rajya. Some perso0ns in the name of secularism wanted to finish Hinduisms which is the oldest and still existing religion. These same people do not mind destroying our age old famous temples and divine centres in the name of infrastructures. Can these people dare to do the same thing if other faiths face the same dilemma

I am sending the below matter for publishing .
"M.Karunanidhi, Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, has stated that "Was Lord Rama an Engineer." "From which engineering college did he get the engineering degree"etc? I would simply ask Mr.M.Karunanidhi whether "has he obtained a Master degree from any recognized universities to run an administration of a big state like Tamil Nadu" So may flyovers and bridges etc are being built in Tamil Nadu and whether the same Mr.M.Karunanidhi has any engineering degree to his credit to get these engineering works executed. Every one says that this bridge is not man made. I say it is right as it is made by a god Mr.Ram. Hence it cannot be said as god made.

On Setu project $526 million cost+ peak destroy options.
The corruption charges against the Government should be HIGHlighted and investigated thouroughly as the amount for the project to create just a canal to pass medium size boats is very high. The choice to destroy the peak amongst the other 6 options is considered also a type of kickback/payback for the motives- political/religious/defense/international -thorium dependance, behind the crime, if money is not found. The corruption charges can checkout those motives. Investigation of the tender process should itself be investigated as where the meetings held- what was discussed for the contract & any discripancy should be made public.

Karunanidhi, being a experience political leader that too being a CM of a state. his remarks were very disappointing and highly barbaric. Freedom of speech does not allow verbal assaults and hurt one's sentiments.
I don't understand why hindus were attacked in various forms recently. This is becoming very high during the last 5 years.

antonia's one objective is to destroy hinduism from india from the route of power . if hindus want to save hinduism it is very important that antonia is thown in the rubish bin as she is not more an xx xxx xxxx of Uk who has become madam of india due to folishness of hindus when so many highly qualified hindu woman who are heading big organisations in india an abroad are not respected that way . if antonia goes back to italy she will not get a lower divison clerk LDC job

the stated project should immediately be suspeended and after more investigation the alignment of the project should be assured first, keeping safeguard the hindu sentiment as well as protect the most anscent and an astonishing structure which is detected to being constructed since lakhs of years by God Rama by His most Scientific engineers of those times thus help the present scientist to take invstigation of such an anscient astonishing structure. thus we can earn huge foreign money as well thorium collection of our Bharat may help our research programm with other so many benifit of our country.

Mr Devender Thakur, you've not read the Ramayan properly.
1. Ravan used the "Pushp Vahan' (similar to today's "private jet") to travel back and forth.
2. Lord Ram came to this Earth with a purpose. His goal was to vanquish all evil and that included RAVAN. Technically, He could have done everything from His abode but as mentioned in the Gita "Yadaa Yadaa hi Dharmasya, Glanir Bhavati Bharata
Abhyudhaanam Adharmasya, Tadatmanam Srijamyaham". God incarnates Himself from time to time when there is a wane in righteousness; He comes to establish righteousness and to set an example for Mankind. (con't)
