CM can discuss about superstitions with me and then think about the Act ! – Srimat Jagatguru Shankaracharya Swami Nishchalanada Sarawati Maharaj

The Chief Minister (CM) and politicians should discuss with me about superstitions and then think about passing Act. Today, those who are trying to pass anti-superstitions Act, are getting destroyed with own superstition of achieving progress through materialism. Those, who want to eradicate superstitions in true sense, can come and have discussions with me. I am here, whole day tomorrow (21^st November); only then, one will know who is superstitious. The above open challenge was given by ‘Purvanmaya Govardhan Mutt, Puri Pithadheeshwar Srimat Jagatguru Shankaracharya Swami Nishchalananda Saraswatiji Maharaj’ here today while guiding people gathered at ‘Hutatma Babu Genu Said Maidan’, Sanpada, Navi Mumbai in a mammoth ‘Dharmasabha’ organised by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS). The ‘sabha’ was attended by more than 5800 Hindus.

Shankaracharya Swami Nishchalanada Saraswati said further, “Those, who are calling us as superstitious and considering materialism as superior, are in fact, in deep sleep. I am here for two days. Where are the CM and politicians? Everyone has faith in something. Is there an answer for ‘Why is 1 the first number, or why ‘A’ is the first alphabet?’ There is no answer to this but you have faith in something. Have faith in Sanatan Vaidik Hindu Dharma and you will get answers to everything. Without worship and ‘sadhana (spiritual practice)’ what is left in this world? Everyone will behave like animals from hell. Hindu Dharma can take soul to the Sun, ‘Agni (Fire), Indra etc. Hindu Dharma has given us ‘Artha-shastra’, ‘Kaam-shastra’, ‘Dharma-Rajya’, ‘Ram-Rajya’ etc. If you ask any Muslim, ‘what is ideal politics ?’ , he will say, ‘A State run on the basis of Quran and Shariat, will be the right politics.’ If any Christian is asked, he will say, ‘whatever is accepted in Bible, is the right politics.’ Their politics takes care of only certain community; but as per Hindu Dharma, we say, ‘Sarvetra Sukhinah Santu, Savre Santu Niramayah’ means ‘let everyone be happy and enjoy good health’. Such expansiveness is found only in Hindu Dharma.

 Man has been caught in ignorance and lust from time immemorial. The outcome of birth is going to be death. If one has self-realisation, only then can there be fulfilment of human birth. The Universe operates on the basis of Sanatan Vedic Arya Hindu Dharma. The fulfilment of human life is to get rid of this illusion with spiritual power and one needs to follow the path shown by our sages and seers to achieve this goal.

In the beginning of ‘Dharmasabha’ while expressing his satisfaction over its organisation with the objective of protection of Dharma and nation, Jagatguru Shankaracharya Swami Nishchalananda Saraswati Maharaj said, “Many organisations have participated, directly and indirectly, and contributed in organisation of such huge program with miraculous affection and enthusiasm. I pray to God for their progress.”

1. Do not treat Hindus as weak. If we try to know about our ancestors, we would know that they were very powerful. Followers of other Sects can be defeated with this power.
2. God incarnates for protection of ‘Sanatan Dharma’. God’s power is in between the supreme soul and nature; therefore, if we go against nature, we will face destruction.
3. In Science Age, materialistic happiness can be used only for enjoyment of senses; as such, politics cannot be used for materialistic happiness.
4. People come to me from other countries to learn mathematics; but Indians have no value for the same.
