Over 325 youth attend HJS ‘Shaurya Training Camps’ in Varanasi and Ghazipur

Self-defence and spiritual training for Hindu youth under the ‘Har Ghar Yoddha’ campaign

Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh – To make the youth physically, mentally, and spiritually capable, the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti organised a ‘Shaurya Training Camp’ at four locations in Varanasi and Ghazipur under the ‘Har Ghar Yoddha Campaign’. More than 325 young men and women participated in total. The 7-day camps were held at the Shri Kamalakar Choubey Adarsh Seva Inter College in Ashapur and the Shivpuri Vatika Auditorium in Baragaon, Varanasi, as well as in Saidpur.

A total of six weekly self-defence training classes will be started for these camp participants. In addition, 37 young men and women expressed their readiness to take on the responsibility of becoming trainers themselves.

  • The residents of Varanasi and Saidpur participated wholeheartedly to make this event a success.
  • Some parents came to the training camp merely to drop off their children, but after seeing the training class, they felt inspired and joined the 7-day training sessions themselves.
  • The village head (Gram Pradhan) of Baragaon, Shri. Ravindra Patel, participated in the camp on all 7 days.
  • Shri. Sitaram Agrahari of Baragaon provided the space at his lawn free of charge for this campaign and for the upcoming weekly classes, and he checked in daily to see if any assistance was needed for the arrangements.
  • The devout followers of Dharma (Dharmapremis) in Saidpur organised meetings for this campaign to invite new people, and they also rendered the service of putting up hoardings at various locations.
