Asks, ‘Why Sanatan Sanstha and Janajagaran should not be banned for propagating concept of Hindu Nation ?’

Panaji (Goa) : Congress MLA Mr. Alex Reginald Lawrence has asked the following unstarred questions to the home minister and chief minister Mr. Manohar Parrikar in Vidhan Sabha – Are the organisations, Sanatan Sanstha and Janajagaran propagating Hindu Nation ? Are these organisations under the jurisdiction of Constitution ? Are there any reasons why these organisations should not be banned ? Is any of the two organisations banned earlier ? If yes, when ? (Will those who do not bother to know the exact name of ‘Hindu Janajagruti Samiti ever try to understand its activities ? The Vatican appeals to make the entire Asia continent Christian and as per this appeal, rampant conversions are taking place by the missionaries mainly in Bharat and other countries of Asia. When conversions were prevented, the Christians gunned down Swami Laxmananand in Orissa. In spite of this, the Pope is given a grand reception in Bharat. Should Hindus have demanded ban on the Pope’s Bharat visit ? – Editor)

While replying, the chief minister said, “The organisations which function against the Constitution are not allowed in the country and such organisations can be banned under Illegal Acts (Prevention) Act 1967. The central government has the powers to impose such a ban. (The demand of Hindu nation is as per the Constitution. All the actions required for establishment of Hindu Nation will be carried out keeping in view the national interest. The followers of other faiths should stop slipshod criticism without understanding the objective of Hindu Nation ! – Editor)
