Sambhajinagar: Pro-Hindus prevent Muslims trying to desecrate Shiva Temple

Sambhajinagar (Maharashtra): Few Muslims were shooting in the temple of Sri Khadakeshwar Mahadeo, the ‘Gramdevata’ of the place. (Will similar permission be granted for carrying out shooting of a film in any mosque? Lack of unity among Hindus is emboldening Muslims to behave in this manner ! – Editor SP) As the pro-Hindu organizations realized this, they stopped the shooting of the film so as to prevent desecration of the temple. (Congratulations to pro-Hindu activists, who stopped those who were misusing the temple ! – Editor SP)

Shooting of a short film under the banner of ‘Lucky Star Films’ owned by producer and actor Afsar Khan, a municipal councilor of NCP was planned in this temple. There was a group of 20-25 Muslims with him at that time. They started shooting of the film in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple desecrating the sanctity of the temple. Mr. Sharad Chawda of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) learnt about it and he promptly informed other pro-Hindu organizations and their office bearers. Mr. Ajay Chavariya, the area-chief of Shiv Sena, Mr. Kiran Ganore, its branch-chief, Mr. Kumawat of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Mr. Sanjay Patil, the President of ‘Raje Shivachhatrapati Yuva Manch’ and members of HJS viz. Mr. Prakash Kulkarni, Sahebrao Sable, Pappu Ingale etc. reached the place of incident.

These devout Hindus admonished Mr. Khan that when it was not allowed to carry even a cell phone in the sanctum sanctorum, how was he shooting there? Mr. Khan replied that he had taken permission from Mr. Jugalkishor Tapadia, a trustee of the temple. (The trustees, who are not concerned about preserving sanctity of the temple, deserve condemnation ! – Editor SP) Mr. Khan said that it was not their intention to hurt anyone’s feelings. (Usual trick of Hindu-haters ! – Editor SP)
