‘In Margao blast case, inquiry has not been conducted properly against Sanatan !’ – Raju Nayak

Panaji (Goa): In a program on proceedings of Goa Legislative Assembly, Raju Nayak, the Editor of daily ‘Lokmat’ newspaper said that in Margao bomb blast case, inquiry was not conducted properly against Sanatan and there seemed to be lack of political will. (Home Minister Ravi Naik had alleged involvement of Sanatan in the bomb blast within 1-1/2 hours after the explosion in Margao. Right from that night, the Goa police went to Sanatan’s ashram for the next 5 days to conduct inquiry. Thereafter, Goa police and National Investigating Agency checked the whole ashram; Sanatan seekers and office bearers were interrogated in various States like Goa, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Kerala etc. and even now the inquiry is going on. This indicated that the political will was quite strong; but with the grace of God, it has been found that Sanatan Sanstha was in no way connected to the bomb blast case and therefore, anti-Sanatan people like Raju Nayak is unable to digest the findings ! – Editor SP)

He said further, “Attempts are being made to oust the secular governance. Painter Dr. Juze Pereira (Who has drawn nude Hindu Deities) is being threatened. (If Hindus have threatened Christian painter Dr. Pereira and anti-Hindu painter Dr. Subodh Kerkar, it is because Hindus are tolerant, only threats were given; but Raju Nayak must know that had it involved matter related to non-Hindus, they would have made his life very difficult ! – Editor SP)

The program on the ‘Prudent’ channel was hosted by the editor of this channel, Sandesh Prabhudesai. In this program, Tomazin Cardoz, the former Chairman of the Legislative Assembly was also present. In the Legislative Assembly, discussions were held on the demand of Police Department for grants. Based on this, the program was held to discuss the topic of political interference in Police Department. In this program, Raju Nayak passed the above anti-Sanatan comments. Sandesh Prabhudesai, the host of the program asked him that how could he say that the inquiry was not conducted in proper manner when the Goa Police and National Investigating Agencies (NIA) had conducted similar inquiries. Raju Nayak could not satisfactorily answer his question.(Raju Nayak had made false accusations against Sanatan in the edition of dainik Lokmat dated 16th July 2010 and Sanatan had sent clarification on every point raised by him. For impartial journalism, editor of ‘Lokmat’ should have published even Sanatan’s clarifications. Sanatan has sent explanations against all anti-Sanatan news published by ‘Lokmat’ so far; but ‘Lokmat’ has never published any of those details. Isn’t its anti-Sanatan mentality behind the guise of journalism? Or is the ‘Lokmat’ editor afraid of the real facts coming to light regarding its propagation against Sanatan? Of Course, ‘Dainik Sanatan Prabhat’ will be shortly publishing all the explanations so that people get to know the truth. When accusations of heretics are countered, they have no answers and they do not publish such response as people will come to know their true colours ! – Editor SP)
