Jalgaon – The procession was started from ‘Dakshinamukhi’ Hanuman Mandir near Golani Market with the ‘aarti’ of Shriram. The procession was taken through Chitra Chowk, Danabazar, Subhash Chowk areas to Prabhu Shriramchandra Mandir, the ‘Gramadaivat’ of Jalgaon where it was concluded.

Hindu Janajagruti Samiti played the chant of ‘Shriram Jai Rama Jai Jai Rama’ continuously on loudspeaker during the procession. Boards with good sayings, saffron flags were carried by participants and welcome arches erected en route were drawing attention of people. The signature drive undertaken by HJS on the occasion for building Shriram Mandir in Ayodhya received very good response from people.

Sanatan Sanstha’s Saint ‘Pujya’ Nandkumar Jadhav, ‘Shriram Janmotsava’s Shri Sachin Narale, Mayor Nitin Laddha, Dy. Mayor Lalit Kolhe, Bajarang Dal’s Devagiri region’s District Coordinator Shri. Lalit Chaudhary, BJP-MLA Suresh Bhole, Sanatan seekers Shri. Dattatreya Waghulde, Omkareshwar Temple’s Shri. Deepak Joshi, Shiv Sena’s Shri. Shyam Kogata, Shri. Kishore Bhosale, Shri. Gajanan Malpure, Shri. Sunil Mahajan, all municipal councilors and more than 5000 devout Hindus were present on the occasion.

Highlights

1. There was a squad of small girls playing ‘lazim’ and attired in 9-yard saris took part in the procession.

2. Folk dance by tribals from Chopda taluka, Krushna Tambat, son of Shri. Gajanan Tambat, a devout Hindu was dressed in attire like Yogi Adityanath drew everyone’s attention.

3. The procession was welcomed on the route with flowers at many places. Social organizations distributed water and juice.
