RHA at Varanasi (UP) and Harohalli (Karnataka) for various demands

Mangaluru : A slaughter-house is being constructed at Harohalli (Bengaluru) on behalf of the Government. It should be stopped immediately. Karnataka Government has announced scholarship of Rs. 25000/- to students from minority communities for higher studies like ‘Ph D’ and ‘M Phil’ which should be withdrawn, grazing ground should be prepared for cows on Male-Mahadeshwar Hills. The above demands were made through demonstrations staged under aegis of ‘Rashtriya Hindu Andolan (RHA)’ in front of Dy. Commissioner’s office by ‘Hindutvavadis’ and a representation was submitted to the Dy. Commissioner.

Shri. Chandra Moger, South Canara District Coordinator of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) said while addressing devout Hindus, “The British built slaughter-houses in Bharat so as to stop farming in this country before independence; but instead of closing down those slaughter-houses after independence, new high-tech slaughter-houses are being constructed. 35 acres of land and grant of Rs. 64 crores is given by the Government. It should be cancelled. Appeasement of minorities should be stopped. Grazing ground for cows should be again made available on Male Mahadeshwar Hill which was earlier stopped in the name of security of forests.”

Shri. Anant Kamat of HJS, Shri. Uday Shankar, Shri. Satish, Shri. Manjunath, Ranaragini’s Sou. Lakshmi Pai, Sanatan Sanstha’s Shri. Vinay Gauda etc were present on the occasion.
