‘Bravery’ is the solution to all calamities faced by Hindus today : Sou. Gauri Khilare

More than 300 devout Hindus participate in Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha held at Tujarpur despite less population

Tujarpur, Ishwarpur (Dist. Sangli) : Indians are capable of exhibiting bravery for protection of God, nation and Dharma. All Indians take pride in the examples set before them by great valiant warriors like Arjuna with his ‘Gandiva’, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Maharana Pratap, Rani Lakshmibai etc. Today, Hindus are facing many problems including terrorism; therefore, they will have to be made aware of valour latent in them; that they are like lions, stated Sou. Gauri Khilare of Ranaragini Division while addressing Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha (sabha) held on the grounds in front of Gram-Panchayat. Sou. Madhura Tophakhane also addressed the ‘sabha’. Sou. Gauri Khilare and Sou. Madhura Tophakhane lighted the lamp in the beginning of the ‘sabha’ that was attended by more than 300 devout Hindus, including few senior citizens.

Sou. Madhura Tophakhane spoke about current affairs and the only solution on all problems i.e. establishment of Hindu Rashtra. Nobody left before end of the ‘sabha’ and peacefully listened to speeches with lot of interest. Many ‘jidnyasus’ visited exhibition put up at the venue and many people read the ‘Dharmashikshan’ boards. Kum. Ujwala Kheradkar did compeering of the ‘sabha’ and Kum. Pratibha Tavare introduced to people various activities undertaken by HJS. The attendance of women was noteworthy.

Highlights

1. More than 40 devout Hindus were present after the ‘sabha’ to discuss their doubts with the speakers. They also demanded holding of similar ‘sabha’ at Malewadi and Borgaon.

2. Local residents said that attendance was usually very less for political rallies held there.

3. Local devout Hindus made all arrangements such as generator, material required for erecting stage, sitting arrangements etc without charging anything.

4. Sarpanch and Police-Patil were quite impressed with the ‘sabha’ and they would support all drives undertaken by HJS even in future.

5. Arrangements were made to reach women from Ishwarpur after the ‘sabha’.

Points needing special mention

1. It was harvest time and they were busy in their farms; still people stayed back till end for the ‘sabha’.

2. Many people attending the ‘sabha’ said that they felt lot of ‘chaitanya’ at the venue of the ‘sabha’ and it was a ‘never before’ experience.
