Mumbai: It was deduced from a letter by Samir Kulkarni, an accused in Malegaon bomb blast case that a plot was hatched to kill Sarsanghchalak of RSS Mr. Mohan Bhagavat. Judge Marlaparle of Mumbai High Court had issued an order to investigate the matter. Accordingly, the additional Police Commissioner of Anti-terrorist Squad (ATS) submitted a report in this context wherein it has been mentioned that there was no clear mention of a plot to kill Mr. Bhagavat in the available evidence. (The lies told by NCP MLA Jitendra Avhad that he had evidence of Sanatan Sanstha and Abhinav Bharat hatching plot to kill Mr. Bhagavat have come out in the open. He had made such accusation against the above organizations during the session of Legislative Assembly. What action is now proposed to be taken against Avhad by the Government for misguiding the House and defaming Sanatan Sanstha? – Editor SP)

The report was shown by ATS to the Judge and was immediately taken back from him. While giving details about the report of ATS to the Court, its advocate said, “It was deduced from the conversation between the accused in Malegaon bomb blast case Mr. Sudhakar Dwivedi and Mr. Shyam Apate that a plot was hatched to kill the Sarsanghachalak; but when the conversation was checked, it was found that there was no mention of Mr. Bhagavat’s name; but the main purpose of these people was to establish a Hindu Nation and in that connection, they had hatched such plot to kill some influential persons. They had also held meetings at Bhagyanagar and Kolkata.” Judge Marlaparle said, “The Court was satisfied with the investigation report and is disposing of the petition.”
