New Delhi : Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) and Sanatan Sanstha undertook a drive for prevention of wrong things happening during Holi festival. Incidents are taking place such as abusing others; painting faces with black colours; creating chaos after consuming liquor; organizing revv parties; teasing women; making lewd gestures at women; throwing balloons at others filled with dirty water; throwing eggs; use harmful colours; atheists making anti-Dharma appeals like ‘Use trash for Holi and donate Puranpoli’, thus trying to destroy others’ faith; therefore, the drive was undertaken against such improper acts.

You are doing good work ! – District Collector B S Jaglan, South-East Delhi

A representation was submitted under the above drive to District Collector B. S. Jaglan of South-East Delhi and City Magistrate Ramanuj Singh of NOIDA for prevention of wrong deeds. Shri. Jaglan said, “You are doing very good work. Presently, everyone has forgotten our Indian culture. Children will be well behaved if parents inculcate good values in them and only then the society will have virtuous people.”

Shri. Jaglan narrated his experience. He had gone to a famous temple where he saw a foreign lady in Indian sari whereas some of the Indian women were in jeans. He said that foreigners were accepting our culture but Indians were following western culture.
