Population of Hindus is reducing in this country. Considering the total population, the percentage of Hindus is going down. There were 90 % Hindus in Bharat at the time of partition. Today, only 76% Hindus are left. There were 22 % Hindus in Pakistan at the time of partition and now, only 1 % Hindus are remaining. Hindus are always converted but Hindus never convert anyone. Arunachal Pradesh, which was populated by majority of Hindus earlier, now has majority of Christian population. It is an open secret that billions of rupees are received in this country for conversions. One cannot deny the fact; therefore, nobody should have objection if truth is presented. We don’t think there is anything wrong to support the truth, stated Shri. Satish Kocharekar, the spokesperson of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS). Congress committee had made a statement that ‘Attempts are made to convert Arunachal Pradesh into a Hindu State’ on which Union Home Minister Kiran Rijiju had stated that population of Hindus was dwindling. In this background, ‘SAAM’ TV news channel had held a debate program titled ‘Hindus’ democracy’ in which Shri. Kocharekar participated. Along with him, the other participants were Dr. Raju Waghmare, Congress spokesperson; Shri. Vishwas Pathak, BJP spokesperson; R. F. Husaini, spokesperson of MIM, Baban Kamble, the President of ‘Mahima Christian Pratishthan’ and pastor Vishal Moreshwar on behalf  of Marathi Christian community. The program was compeered by Sanjay Awate.
