 Distribution of ‘tilgul’, gatherings, ‘haldi-kumkum’ programs held imparting ‘Dharmashikshan’ to women

Haldi-kumkum program at Raigad

Jalgaon

Sanatan Sanstha, Thane Trust held a lecture at Shri Hanuman Mandir in Muktainagar area on ailments related to women and Ayurvedic perspective on the same; besides a lecture on spiritual importance of Makar-sankranti. The lecture was attended by 80 women. Sou. Harshada Pail, ‘Ayurveda’-expert and Sanatan’s Sou. Saukhya Chaudhary gave guidance.

Bhor

Ranaragini Division promoted by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) organized ‘Haldi-kumkum’ function at Nigade, Bhor (Pune Dist.). Sou. Rajashri Tiwari explained the need for ‘Dharmashikshan’. Sou. Neha Mehta of Ranaragini Division was also present on the occasion. More than 80 women attended the function. ‘Haldi-kumkum’ program was held by Ranaragini even at Bhor city that was attended by about 30 women. ‘Haldi-kumkum’ program at Nigade was organized by devout Hindus attending ‘Dharmashikshan’ classes. Women from Nigade and Bhor showed interest in starting ‘Dharmashikshan’ classes at both these places.

Phaltan (Dist. Satara)

HJS organized ‘Tilgul’ gathering at Hingangaon, Tawadi and Dhavalewadi with the help of devout Hindus from ‘Dharmashikshan’ classes. People from Hingangaon assured to give Sanatan’s books as gift on the occasion of Makar-sankrant’ in future, since the knowledge available in the books is useful. Senior citizens from Dhavalewadi commended HJS activities.

Amravati

A lecture was held by ‘Dharmaseva Pratishthan’ on killing of female foetus. The program was organized by women attending Dharmashikshan class. The program was attended by 70 women.

Miraj

‘Haldi-kumkum’ program was held at the place of Shiv Sena’s Shri. Anand Rajput on behalf of ‘Sanatan Sanstha Miraj Nyas’. Sou. Vaishali Rajput spoke on importance of ‘Makar-sankrant’.

Nagpur

Shri. Atul Arvenla explained the importance of ‘Makar-sankrant’ and method of celebration. The program was attended by 35 ‘jidnyasu’ women.

Nashik

‘Haldi-kumkum’ program was held at the backside of Kalaram Mandir. ‘Tilgul’ was distributed to devotees. One ‘jidnyasu’ woman showed interest in joining HJS activities. The program was attended by 250 people. Women from ‘Dharmashikshan’ classes held at Jeur Patoda (Kopargaon) organized ‘Haldi-kumkum’ program. They decorated the road by drawing ‘rangoli’ on both the sides after plastering it with cow-dung. Guidance was held on the subject ‘Killing of female foetus’. More than 125 women attended the program.

Raigad

‘Haldi-kumkum’ program was held at 11 places. Handbills were distributed on the occasion giving information. Few women said that they would give the handbills even to their friends.

Solapur 

A gathering of devout Hindus was held through the medium of website when they were introduced to various activities undertaken by HJS. People showed interest in meeting once in a month. Shri. Manoj Khadye, the Coordinator of HJS for western Maharashtra gave guidance. Everyone liked the concept of Hindu Rashtra and many people showed interest in participating in the activities. Shri. Basavraj Jamakhindi gave information on HJS to his friends and informed that he would ask them to participate in HJS activities. The program held at Sunilnagar was attended by 60 women and it was organized by ‘Siddhata Goumatam’, a multinational company. Posters were displayed for advertising of the program.
