It is difficult to work for ‘Hindutva’ openly in Meghalaya due to pressurization by Christians. Cow-slaughter is taking place openly in this State due to conversions to Christianity and beef is openly sold on the streets; which is becoming unbearable for Hindus; however, neither the Government nor the administration feels anything towards Hindus’ sentiments. The Government ignores Hindus everywhere. Hindus are told that they are not local non-tribal people.

  1. The question needs to be asked, “Why does the government give grants to schools run by christian organisations?”. In doing so, you are not only abetting their nefarious motives but are also pushing innocent, impressionable Hindu youngsters towards Western culture and thereby open to discarding their Hindu values.

It must also be known that in these Christian schools, students are often forced to mouth Christian prayers and ideals – many of which are in total opposition to Indian culture. And yet, when something as innocent as yoga is introduced in any curriculum, these very Christian schools claim that it is against their culture and beliefs!!

One solution could be to compulsorily introduce 2 subjects in every State’s curriculum – irrespective of who runs the school. The subjects should be Indian Mythology and Indian Vedic Science. This way, no student will have a choice of forgetting his Indian culture. These should not be optional subjects!
