Insult of Maharani Padmavati will not be tolerated : Kshatriya Mahasabha

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s effigy kicked to register condemnation !

Jalgaon : Shri. Mahendrasingh Rajput of ‘Kshatriya Mahasabha’ explained the firm stand taken by his organization to condemn Sanjay Leela Bhansali who was planning to film love-scenes between Allauddin Khiljee and Maharani Padmavati.  Shri. Rajput also warned to stage a movement at national level against such anti-Hindu film for distorting history. Demonstrations were held in Prabhat Chowk near the statue of Maharana Pratap by ‘Kashatriya Mahasabha’ when an effigy of Bhansali was kicked to register protest. Shri. Mahendrasingh Rajput, Shri. Harshal Rajput, Shri. Sagar Rajput, Shri. Pratham Suryavanshi from ‘Kashtriya Mahasabha’ and other devout Hindus were present; besides Shri. Prashant Juvekar of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS).

Shri. Rajput said, “If our Maharani Padmini was wrongly depicted through such film, it will not be tolerated. We support action taken by ‘Karani Sena’ for teaching a lesson to Bhansali.” Shri. Prashant Juvekar said, “Hindus’ Deities, Hindus’ traditions, Hindus’ glorifying history is always denigrated by film world. What are these people trying to achieve by making films which hurt religious sentiments of Hindus in a country where Hindus are in majority ? On one hand, distorted history is being taught to children through NCERT’s curriculum and on the other hand, if history is distorted even through medium of films, what will be the effect of all this on our future generations ? The Film Censor Board and the Government need to show better sense. All pro-Hindu organizations will oppose the film.”
