‘Hindutvavadis’ participating in demonstrations at Jalgaon

Jalgaon : Shiv Sena’s Shri. Gajanan Malpure warned to stage agitations if justice was not done immediately to innocent Hindus taken accused in Malkapur riots; while addressing demonstrators participating in ‘Rashtriya Hindu Andolan’. Shri. Malpure said that the Government was trying to protect fanatics involved in riots and doing injustice to Hindus.

Shri. Ashish Gangawe said that giving concessions to a particular community in a secular country like ours, was against the Constitution. Uttarakhand Government has announced break of 90 minutes for reading ‘namaz’ for fanatics. These demonstrations are against such incidents and the Government should withdraw such concessions, taking note of these demonstrations. Maharashtra Government declared a decision regarding display of pictures in Government offices that was anti-Hindu Dharma and later withdrew the same. It shows general mentality of the Government towards Hindus. There is no alternative to establishment of Hindu Rashtra for getting justice for Hindus.

Shri. Prashant Juvekar of HJS said, “In NCERT’s text book on Civics published by Indian Government, there is anti-Hindu depiction of Gujarat riots since those riots have been stated as anti-Muslims. As such, students studying this curriculum, are taught distorted history. Even earlier, NCERT had referred to revolutionaries as terrorists. Lessons glorifying Muslim rulers are included under this curriculum; therefore, NCERT curriculum creating communal rift and poisoning students’ minds, should be immediately changed.” A representation was submitted to the District Collector with demands made during demonstrations.

More than 90 ‘Hindutvavadis’ from Jai Bhavani Group, Swarajya Nirman Sena, Hindu Ekata Group, Jai Matadi Group, Mahakali Mitra Mandal, Shiv Sena, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti and Sanatan Sanstha participated in demonstrations which were concluded with recitation of a ‘shloka’.
