Awareness created among visitors to Sinhgad on Republic Day

Pune : At 7.30 a.m., Shri. Shekhar Shinde, the Cirle Officer of Revenue Department hoisted the national flag at Sinhgad. Shri. Pravin Naik of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) spoke on maintaining honour of national flags to more than 70 people present there. A road-show was staged on the subject of ‘Self-defence Training – need of the hour’.

A procession was taken out to create awareness towards preserving honour of national lags. Many people spontaneously raised slogans including ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai’ when they saw the procession. HJS volunteers staged the road-show at 2 other places at Sinhgad that were watched by 70 and 80 spectators respectively. Exhibition on life history of revolutionaries and ‘sattvika’ products of Sanatan was held at the venue. More than 1000 people visited the exhibition. ‘Raje Shivaraya Pratishthan’ undertook cleaning drive at Sinhgad. Professor Sunil Marathe voluntarily joined the procession, taken out for creating awareness amongst people.
