Devout Hindus participated in th Protest Rally

Beed (Maharashtra): Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj revered by all Maharashtra was insulted by NCERT through its text book in which only in 5 lines have been devoted to his life history whereas 60 pages were devoted for the history of Mughal invaders. This was the reason that protest rally was taken out by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) and devotees of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj to the office of the District Collector.


A memorandum was submitted to the district collector on the occasion. These devout Hindus expressed their resolve to continue their fight till the anti-Shivaji curriculum is not withdrawn. The rally was started with performing ‘puja’ of the ‘Dharma-dhvaj’ by ‘Veda- scholar’ Shri. Dhundiraj Patangankar. The rally was taken out through Subhash Road, Malives Chowk, Sathe Chowk, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Chowk to the District Collector’s office.

In the office premises of the District Collector, the rally was converted into a meeting in which dignitaries like ‘Vedashastrasampanna’ Dhundiraj Patangankar, Mr. Vikram Ghodake of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS), Mr. Ganesh Ugale of Swami Ramanandteertha Yuva Manch, Mr. Jaysinh Chungade and Mr. Balasaheb Gunjal of Shiv Sena addressed the meeting. Professor Rajesh Kendre did compeering.
