Shivpratishthan activists stop conversion under the guise of Christmas celebration

Commendable action taken by ‘Dharkaris’ from Shri Shivpratishthan !

Sangli : On 22nd December at Ram Mandir Chowk, few Christians were distributing copies of Bible, telling importance of Jesus standing on the roads and were propagating Christianity through such acts. It was heard by Shri. Nitin Chougule, a Dharkari of Shri Shivpratishthan and his other associates. They went to the place of incident and took the Christians to task. It was observed from the permission letter that they had permission to only hold religious program; still they were spreading Christianity using loudspeakers on roads. The enraged Dharkaris therefore, forced to close down the program.

1. Christians were distributing copies of Bible, for free, to passersby. It was an attempt to tell people how Christianity is better.

2. Few persons were in the guise of Santa Clause and were distributing handbills in the name of creating awareness.

3. Shri. Nitin Kale, Shri. Hanmantrao Pawar, former MLA Shri. Nitin Shinde and other Dharkaris were present in large numbers. Christians were first not ready to listen but later, they had to leave owing to aggressiveness shown by Dharkaris.

4. Police reached the venue of the incident. Citizens said that many such incidents were taking place within the region of municipality.

5. “We have come to this world to give love. We are only explaining the importance of Jesus Christ. We are unnecessarily opposed. Even if you beat us, we will give love to the world,” was the explanation given by a woman among the group present at the venue. (Not only in India, but at many places in the world, Christians are thus cheating people, luring them or even using force to convert people as was done in Goa. Thousands of incidents have been observed where Christians forcefully converted Hindus. The meaning of individual freedom is not to mislead people and convert them. It was therefore, expected of police administration to take action on their own against those creating law and order problem. Police administration is therefore, expected to take action against people misleading and converting others. – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)
