125 Hindu activists at Chiplun, Ratnagiri which falls on the Mumbai Goa highway, submitted a petition to Police commissioner and Tehsil Heads demanding action against M.F.Hussain. The petition has also warned the Government that if Hussain is not arrested immediately, a Road Blockage campaign will be held at Chiplun on the Mumbai Goa Highway on the 7th of January 2005.
The petition has also demanded legal action against all websites hosting the objectionable paintings of M.F. Hussain.
